Touchdown Helipads are engineered and have undergone simulated and physical load testing.

12x12 in Steep Slope configuration with 17,600 lbs load.  This helipad is rated for helicopter with a gross operating weight of 8,000 lbs.

15x16 Helipad in Steep Slope Configuration with 26,400 lbs deck load and 2,200 lbs side load.  This helipad is rated for a helicopter with a gross operating weight of 8,000 lbs.

This Touchdown helipad survived being dislodged from its location of installation by an avalanche
